The Junior Red Cross is the student movement of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Serving in a voluntary capacity, Juniors can make a significant contribution to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable people within their local communities through the Red Cross programme. The Junior Red Cross is the student's wing of the Red Cross. It is a group movement organised within schools, to engage children and adolescents in volunteer activities. children and adolescents also represent a substantial part of the membership of the Red Cross for its humanitarian commitment. Their objective is to prepare a balanced, disciplined, service-motivated, dedicated and sincere responsible citizen in the emerging society which is much needed in recent times.
